Formed in summer 2017 and best described musically as 'intense, punishing and unrelenting', Ursus create wall-of-sound metal grooves, armed to the teeth with filthy, tech-ridden riffs and just a touch of melodic harmony. With a sound that overwhelms the size of the average smaller stage, their voracious and finely crafted live sets are impressing; earning them praise and recognition among their peers and fans alike.
Having already played with a host of inspiring bands such as Loathe, Shields, Martyr Defiled and Parting Gift, smashing it at Techfest 2018 and Holloween 2019, and releasing a number of very well received new music tracks (recorded with George Lever), along with accompanying music videos, and being named Alex Baker's 'Featured Artist of the Week on his Kerrang! Radio Fresh Blood show in February, the Swindon/Bristol based 4-piece are not only proving why they're a band worth discovering, but why they're also a contender for one of THE bands to watch out for in 2020.
